I got a new wireless router, plugged it in EXACTLY the way the diagram in the instructions said...router said 'ptooie' or some such thing. I tapped my foot, rang Jonathan, got him to come over, we did all the same things, it said 'ok' in a chirrupy fashion...I think the gods of technology are making fun of me...
Or maybe it is the American gods of technology that want me to say 'rowter' instead of 'rooter', could be that?

There are no techie gods; only small devilish imps that invade your life and fill it with cables of unknown origin, random dongles and missing software cds crucial to pc rebuild after the imps have fried it.
