Matchmaking

In the fine tradition of old maids everywhere I have been doing some matchmaking. Two people I know here who I think are pretty alike and who would get along famously. So I encouraged them and like biddable little lambs they agreed to give it a go. Sadly there are 2 things I didn't take into account:
1) The fact that one of them is just out of a serious relationship even though the partner in said relationship was astoundingly self-centered they actually inexplicably are still not over this other person
2) A perceived height differential - I have to say I really hadn't noticed, I am still not sure that it could possibly be that big a difference...
Anyway apart from that I seemed to have got the personality connection right which is a relief :D at least one of them is still speaking to me! I haven't seen the other one since.
So not buying a new hat (for the wedding) just yet - will wait and see!
